Surface Dialogues
2022
Variable Dimensions
"A wall never separates—it remembers."
Surface Dialogues investigates architectural rhythm through layered plaster, mineral pigments, and geometric divisions. Each work examines how built environments record traces of occupation, erosion, and repair. Rather than representing buildings, the series explores architecture as an emotional landscape shaped by memory.
Installation Views

Exhibited at MAXXI Museum in Rome, the series emphasized scale and proportion, allowing visitors to experience each work as an extension of architectural space rather than an isolated object.
Collection Notes
The paintings blur distinctions between construction and abstraction, inviting viewers to read surfaces as both physical structures and psychological maps.
