Elena Vasari (b. 1985, Venice) is an abstract painter and sculptor whose practice investigates the materiality of silence and the structural possibilities of negative space. Over a two-decade career, she has developed a singular formal language that bridges the physical weight of raw materials with the delicate thresholds of human memory.

Over a two-decade career, she has developed a singular formal language that bridges the physical weight of raw materials with the delicate thresholds of human memory.

Working alternatively with heavy impasto oils on linen and monolithic cast bronze, Vasari rejects traditional figuration in favor of raw architectural presence. Her work is held in major public collections across Europe and is the subject of several museum publications. She currently lives and works between Venice and her countryside studio in Tuscany.
