Botanical Studies
2023
Variable Dimensions
"Every leaf is a record of time made visible."
Botanical Studies combines preserved specimens, handmade paper, graphite, and natural pigments to examine the relationship between scientific observation and emotional memory. Each composition balances precision with abstraction, transforming botanical structures into quiet reflections on preservation and impermanence.
Installation Views

Displayed within intimate gallery spaces at the Botanical Museum Copenhagen, the works encouraged close viewing and slow contemplation through carefully controlled lighting.
Collection Notes
Inspired by historical herbariums, the series explores the fragile boundary between documentation and poetry.
